River Rats Working Party Saturday 16 March at 9 am
We will be holding a River Rats Working Party on Saturday 16 March at 9 am. The primary task is to clear the short culvert under the footpath at the bypass end: the section which leads from the pond on our side of the brick culvert under the bypass to the Kingsmere on the Reserve. We also hope to clear some of the reeds along the edge of the Kingsmere to prevent it becoming completely overgrown this summer. If time and numbers allow, we also may clear some of the reeds from the pond.

If you own a pair of waders, dry or wet suit, please bring them along but they are by no means obligatory and not all jobs will be in the water! In fact some dry land help would be appreciated. Loppers etc may also be useful.
