Work on the walkways began in October and the crossing path between river and canal and disabled ramp from the sea wall are now in place. But work on the boardwalk has paused until January, awaiting delivery of materials. The bridge across the King’s Mere has been built but is currently fenced off for health and safety reasons.
Please do not use the bridge or the pathway leading up to it. Please stick to the ramp and footpath connecting the canal to the ramp.
